| FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS
Why does a class get cancelled?
The Burbank Park District has
long been known for offering some diverse programs. Classes
and special events meet the varied interests, ages and skill levels
of all our residents and those in nearby communities.
Sometimes classes have to be cancelled. The first and foremost
reason is that a particular time offering does not reach its minimum
enrollment requirement. Secondly, a new program of interest
that was requested by a few patrons is set up, but does not catch
on immediately.
The important thing to remember
is that no matter what the reason for the class cancellation, the
park district staff will make every effort to accommodate you or a
family member into a similar program. If we cannot do this, we
will happily refund your money. So take a chance-try something
new. Be adventurous. You have nothing to lose and only
fun, friendship and new experiences to gain.
Where do I
register?
Registration takes place at the Park
District Administration Office, 8050 S. Newcastle.
Hours: Monday thru FRIDAY
9a.m.-5p.m.
Saturday 9a.m.-NOON
Why a waiver?
The Burbank Park District assumes no
responsibility for personal injuries or loss of property while
attending a Park District activity or facility.
Is it good to wait to see if a
program will start or fill up?
No, don't wait register now! Signing up as soon
as possible assures your place in the program(s) of your choice and
allows us to finalize program details. |
