Hello,
I wanted to contact someone to ask about advertising with your park district? I wanted to know if there is any information or maybe how we could go about possibily advertising in your program add? We are a Cosmetology School looking to expand our advertising.
Please email me back or call if you have any information on this.
Thanks

Chauncey,
I am sorry but we can’t do any advertising in our program book or at the Park
District.
Thank you for inquiring.

Dear Colleague:
In order to better meet the needs of recreation and parks practitioners, the Office of Recreation and Park Resources (ORPR) at the University of Illinois is conducting a survey to learn more about the offerings and opportunities available across the state.
We are completing the data collection that we began while under contract with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR), Division of Planning and Division of Grant Administration. Our goal is to create a comprehensive database that we can share with agencies, practitioners and park districts.
In this survey, we are asking for information that was not included in the 2008 IDNR Facilities and Park Lands Inventory in the hope that we can include more cities and districts to better reflect the diverse offerings of Illinois’ parks and recreation facilities. We are also interested in identifying cities and park districts that provide “natural” areas. For the purpose of this study, “natural areas” are defined as those which are set aside for the preservation and/or restoration of habitat, species biodiversity and public health (Barry, 1976). We are also interested in those areas that are set aside for appreciation of native plants and wildlife.
We would greatly appreciate you taking the time to fill out the enclosed survey or to complete it online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/IDNRsurvey. It is our goal to collect this information from as many agencies, cities and districts as possible, so that we may begin to share comprehensive information that may benefit us all.
If you have questions, it would be my pleasure to answer them.
Thank you for your time and cooperation.
With thanks,
Jeremy Robinett

Hello, my name is allison cooke and I am part of the P.T.A.
for Byrd School and we will be having a Valentine’s Day Dance on Feb 10 at 4pm to 8pm.
On behalf of the P.T.A. we would like to extend an invitation for one of your dance teams to perform for us volunteer. We believe this would help show the parents what the park district has to offer. Also to help allow your team to show off their talents. If you would like to discuss this further please contact me at 708 654 2801. Thank you Allison
The job is for front desk at our pool. Which is seasonal part-time work. I could mail you an application if you are interested.
