Get ready for winter fun at Harry’s Hill Sledding Hill! Perfect for all ages, our hill offers a thrilling ride down and plenty of space to enjoy the snow. Whether you’re racing friends, taking a casual glide, or just enjoying the winter scenery, it’s the ideal spot for seasonal excitement.

Established in 2016, Harry’s Hill, Burbank’s Sledding Hill, is dedicated to the honorable Mayor Harry Klein.  .

Users assume full responsibility for determining if conditions are safe for sledding. Please use designated fence opening on each side to walk up the hill. Guardians/parents are responsible for children. The hill is unmonitored by park staff.  

Use caution when sledding and be considerate of others.  Sledding is a recreation activity that presents inherent risks and is only permitted in designated areas. 

Please be aware of the following hazards: fence on both sides/light poles/soccer goal.

The Burbank Barking Lot Dog Park – A Tail-Wagging Good Time!

Bring your furry friend to the Barking Lot, a spacious and safe off-leash area designed for dogs of all sizes to run, play, and socialize!

🐾 Features:
✔️ Separate Areas for Large & Small Dogs – Play safely with pups of similar size
✔️ Fenced-In Space – Secure and open for off-leash fun
✔️ Shaded Seating/2 Gazebos & Water Station (seasonal) – Stay comfortable while your dog plays
✔️  Open Play Areas – For exercise and enrichment

*Passes are available at Fusion Recplex and Newcastle Recreation Center.  Registration is required and membership monitored by Animal Control.

Park Rules:

🐶 Dogs must be licensed, vaccinated, and supervised at all times
🐶 Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Poop bag stations are provided. 
🐶 Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated

Pride in our Parks

It’s time to put an end to vandalism. The Park District has been improving and beautifying our parks for all to enjoy: New basketball courts, swings, playground unis, and bathroom facilities. We have installed surveillance cameras to all park buildings, but we still need your help to look for any suspicious activity. If you see any vandalism, please call 911. If there is any equipment in need of repair, please call 708-599-2070 or
708-599-3873.

Parks Rules For Your Safety and Protection

  1. In order to assure the safety of children in playgrounds and everyone on our athletic areas, glass is prohibited in our parks.
  2. All animals are prohibited in parks. Violations are subject to a $500 fine.
  3. No driving or parking motorized vehicles, including motorcycles, are allowed in any grassy area or athletic field. Drive only upon established roads and obey posted traffic signs.
  4. No basketball before 9:00 a.m. on Sundays.
  5. Parks are open from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. 
  6. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on Park District property.
