MacArthur Park (Next to Prairie Trails Library)

Touch-a-Truck is a hands-on community event where kids and families get to explore real vehicles up close! Everything from fire trucks and police cars to construction equipment, plows, cement mixers, and our amazing new Burbank Public Works vehicles! Instead of just seeing these vehicles drive by, kids can climb inside, honk horns, meet the crew who operate them, and learn how these vehicles help the community every day!

Imagine getting to sit inside a fire truck, test the siren on a police car, or see how a snowplow actually works—all while hanging out outside with friends and family instead of staring at a screen! Celebrate “Unplug Illinois” day and disconnect from technology and reconnect with Burbank!

**Don’t forget your towels! Kids can get sprayed by the Fire Department at 11:30am, for a fun splash-bash!!

Pizzapalooza

Taste & Vote! Pizza lovers come together to sample and choose from the areas best!

Pizza Palooza is a fun, interactive tasting event where participants get to sample and vote on pizza from a variety of local pizza places! You will help decide winners in categories like Best Tasting, Best Kid’s Specialty, Most Unique, and Best Dessert! This event takes place at the Fusion Recplex, requires pre-registration, and is great for all ages! This is a great night out for pizza lovers and the community!

$15 Entry includes: A variety of different pizzas to sample, beverages, and voting

Lcoation: Fusion Recplex -6100 W. 85th Street

This event must be pre-registered. Spaces will sell out, so register early to ensure your spots!

Hot Brats & Hot Dogs provided by Prairie Materials, Cold Beverages, and a New Bags Tournament!

Adults & Kids Welcome!

Join us for Brews & Brats, a fun evening dedicated to honoring our active and retired military, veterans, and first responders. Prairie Materials will be out with their custom cement truck grill to provide delicious brats and hot dogs! Cold beers and beverages provided by Burbank Community Bank! Bring your family for a fun filled night, including a friendly competition in our new bags tournament! All while connecting with the community at the Fusion Recplex.

In the event of inclement weather, this will be moved indoors.
