The Fusion Recplex requires our patrons to adhere to a dress code policy for personal hygiene, health, and safety.  The dress code policy is included in policy signs throughout our facility.  It is important for patrons and Fusion staff to follow these policies to ensure a healthy and safe environment.

THE COMPREHENSIVE DRESS CODE IS AS FOLLOWS: 

• NO heavy scents/colognes/cannibus odors or soiled clothing.
• NO open-toed shoes (e.g. sandals, flip-flops, Crocs), high heels, cleats, boots, or bare feet. 
• NO exposed mid-drift. Crop tops, cut-off shirts exposing torso, tank tops that expose nipples, sports bras with no shirt over it, or t-shirts with excessively cut armpit holes exposing torso or nipples.
• NO excessively short shorts, pants, or skirts.  Clothing must completely cover the buttocks.
• NO Jeans, jean shorts (anything denim with heavy seaming or external metal parts), shorts that expose buttocks, or swim bottoms.  (Rivets may rip the leather upholstery)
• NO clothing with obscene language or images. This is a park district facility that hosts many programs and events.  Language deemed inappropriate, by park staff, in any capacity will not be tolerated.  

SHIRT POLICY RATIONALE:

Shirts should cover the full chest, stomach, and back to prevent MRSA, ringworm, etc. from being passed from skin to pad/mat contact.  Increased cleaning from patrons and staff leads to more cleaner and chemical exposure on the pad/mat.  Full shirts eliminate most direct skin to pad/mat contact. 

ATHLETIC, NON-MARKING SHOES POLICY RATIONALE:

Shoes protect the feet from equipment that may be dropped.  Athletic shoes prevent slipping. Proper shoes contain injury and prevent contamination if a heavy object is dropped on the foot.  Backless shoes can easily slip off and shoes that do not cover the forefoot do not protect the entire foot from injury.

• A host of Life Fitness® and Precor® treadmills with personal viewing monitors
• Life Fitness® and Precor® recumbent and upright bikes
• Spin studio with Keiser® Spin Bikes
• 2 StairMaster Machines
• 2 Concept Rower Machines

Guest Pass Policy – Fusion Recplex
Annual and Monthly Recurring Members receive 4 guest visits per guest.

• Eligibility: Annual and recurring monthly members are entitled to four (4) guest passes per member.

• Usage: Each guest may use the facility up to four (4) times total when accompanied by the sponsoring member. Guest passes do not renew for the guest after any time period.

• Guests per Visit: Members may bring multiple guests at one time, provided each is using one of the four (4) permitted visits.

• Accompaniment: Guests must be accompanied by the sponsoring member during their visit.

• Age Requirements:

  • Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or have a parent/guardian sign a waiver each time they use a pass.

• Members can bring as many different guests as they want (each with their own 4 visits).
• Guests must always be accompanied by the member. Guest must show valid ID and sign waiver.

Trial Pass Policy – Fusion Recplex

Eligibility: Any Burbank resident or Non-resident is eligible to use a Fusion Recplex Trial Pass with the following requirements:

– individual must have valid ID

– individual must register in the system, sign liability waiver, and have picture taken for card

– individual must be 18 or older, or be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  15 & over may enter with a signed waiver from Parent or Guardian.  Any individual under 15 must be accompanied by parent or guardian to enter on a trial pass.  

Usage: Each individual may use the facility 3 times on a trial pass

Age Requirements: Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or have a parent/guardian sign a waiver to receive a trial pass.   Guests under 15 may not use a trial pass unless accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
