TAEKWONDO
Taekwondo is a dynamic Olympic sport and 2,000-year-old martial art known for improving physical fitness, self-defense skills, focus, and confidence. Classes are taught by K.H. Kim’s Taekwondo team under the direction of Grandmaster H. Kim.
A one-time $50 uniform fee is due at the first class. Belt testing is available through K.H. Kim Taekwondo for an additional fee. Colored-belt students must have complete sparring gear.

Class Descriptions
Little Dragons
Age: 4-6
Our Little Dragons program introduces young children to the basics of Taekwondo in a fun, encouraging environment. Students build coordination, focus, confidence, and listening skills through age-appropriate drills, simple techniques, and engaging games. Led by K.H. Kim’s Taekwondo staff.
Class Length: 40 min
Parent/Child Taekwondo
Age: Ages 7+, All Belt Levels, with a Parent
This fun and engaging class allows parents and children to train together while building coordination, strength, and confidence. Families will practice stances, strikes, kicks, blocks, and traditional Taekwondo drills in a supportive environment. Both parent and child must be registered to participate.
Beginner Taekwondo
Age: 7+, White – Orange Belts
This beginner-level class teaches students the foundational skills of Taekwondo, including basic kicks, blocks, stances, and forms. Participants will develop coordination, discipline, and self-confidence while learning through structured drills and creative activities. Perfect for new students ready to begin their martial arts journey.
Intermediate Taekwondo
Age: 7+, Green – Brown Belts
Designed for students continuing their Taekwondo training, this class provides a balanced workout combining punching, kicking, blocking, and traditional techniques. Participants work on improving control, power, balance, and concentration as they advance toward higher belt levels and continue refining their skills.
Advanced Taekwondo
Age: 7+, Red – Black Belts
Advanced students will deepen their focus, discipline, and strategic thinking while working on cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility, and body control. This class introduces mastery-level material to prepare students not only for black belt testing, but also to develop the mindset and skill of a martial artist at the highest level.
